Obas John Prof. Ebohon is a Professor in Sustainability and Environmental Law at London South Bank University. His teaching and research interests are in the fields of energy, sustainability, and development, built environment economics and finance, institutions and the process of construction industry development, impact of globalisation on the built and natural environment, construction industry efficiency and productivity, housing and urban development in developing countries, technology transfer, and construction multinationals. He has published widely and contributed to international conferences and seminars in these fields, with particular focus on sub-Sahara Africa. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and a member of the Energy Institute. He is the chairman of GreenHubAfrica’s International Advisory Board and on the International Advisory Board of UN-Habitat Biannual Global Report on State of World Cities (WCR). He maintains strong local and international links with built environment practitioners, educational institutions, and academics.
